About Us

City Learning Centres (CLCs) were established by the Government in 2000 as part of the Excellence in Cities initiative. The CLC’s role was to enhance and embed the use of ICT in the curriculum to supprt learning and teaching in secondary, primary and special schools, as well as providing ICT access to the wider community and the private sector.

For the past ten years CLCs have used the latest technologies and acted as test beds for innovation and new ways of working.

The London City Learning Centre Collective was founded by former London City Learning Centre managers and staff in 2011.

Our passion is Education and ICT. Our aim is to provide excellent impartial advice and assistance in the use of ICT. We passionately believe that the benefits of using ICT to support teaching and learning have never been greater. As a collective of ex CLC staff with ten years’ experience and expertise we can provide a unique blend of support initiatives designed individually to introduce new and existing technologies, embed appropriate pedagogies and develop confidence in using ICT effectively across a wide variety of scenarios.

We operate a centralised ICT service across London and beyond. All our staff are CRB checked and have an extensive knowledge base and skill range developed through working with teachers, students, other educational professionals and partners in industry.
